Things are getting done and looking good! It's taking FOREVER to get done, but... I just don't have much patience! As soon as the contractors leave, I run downstairs to see what was done during the noise I've had to deal with!
The BIG Surprise was that we now have 2 doorways leading into the bedroom and storage room from the Toy room!
Our outer walls and ceiling have insulation, this is the view into the bedroom from the doorway!
This is taken from a corner in the bedroom looking back at the closet and you can see the toy room through the wall!
This is the Food Storage area! We have a spot under the stairs for our deep freeze freezer and then the rest will be floor to ceiling shelves (so basically a HUGE walk in Pantry)!!
This is the corner shower, it will have white walls along the back, and then the front will be glass walls and door!
This is the Bathroom view from the pocket doorway! The toilet will face the door and is going to go in where the black thing is in the dirt (tomorrow the concrete is being poured to fix the floor that had to be dug out)! The sink will be next to the door and I can't wait to see that all finished (We are getting a custom made cabinet).
Tomorrow will be a BUSY day downstairs as Clay (our contractor) has a LOT to get done before the dry wall arrives! Next week will be a week of dry walling! That will be fun to see as the rooms will really look as they will finished, minus flooring, trim and paint!
