We're having a....

BABY BOY and a...

BABY GIRL!!!!

It was so fun to see both of them together on the ultrasound. Both heads are on the left side of my stomach so we were able to get a picture of both of the heads together.

This one was just a cool picture of the little girl. Because of her position we were able to get a good shot of her spine! It's amazing how they looked!

This last picture was my FAVORITE! The tech said that she has never gotten a picture of the 4 feet together! Both babies were kicking away and that explains completely why I have only felt movement on my right side (that's where 4 little feet are to torture mommy)!!!
We couldn't be more excited and now I can't wait to see them again in 6 weeks at my next ultrasound! Since I am having twins I get to have them every 6 weeks until they are born and more if needed!!!

Family Activities...

At our Relief Society Birthday Celebration, "Shopping for the Essentials," in March I am in charge of the rotation on Family Activites and creating a "Store" for the sisters to learn fun and inexpensive things they can do with their families both in the home and out in the State of Utah. If anyone has any ideas that I could share, would you please leave me a comment? The activities you suggest could be for a family of teenagers, young kids, or mixed ages (I've got to figure out things for all ages!!!)

Our New Friend

One of my best friends called me and asked if I could watch her baby for her 2 days a week while she goes to work. Yesterday was her first day and Kaylin absolutely LOVED having her new friend come play. Whenever I put Olivia down to play Kaylin would run over and "talk" to her. When I fed her, Kaylin was right there helping to hold the bottle and when it was time for a diaper change, Kaylin was right there saying, "Olivia pooped in her pull-up." I had to keep telling her it was a diaper and that babies don't know how to go potty. Whenever I put Olivia down for a nap, Kaylin would ask me, "Where is Olivia?" I am hoping that Kaylin will continue to be a big girl when the twins get here. She really liked having Olivia over and to be honest with you so did I! It was fun to have a 3 month old baby in the house again! They are a lot of hard work but so rewarding when they look up at you and smile and coo! Thanks Lyndsey for letting us watch Olivia 2 days a week!

Ear Tubes

For those of you who knew, Kaylin had tubes put in her ears last August. Today we went for the 6 month check up and the doctor said that her tubes looked PERFECT, like they were put in Yesterday! For me that was EXCELLENT news! He did check her nose which looked GREAT and her tonsils which were a little red, probably the beginnings of a sore throat which would explain why she has not eaten very well the last couple of days!
I couldn't be happier that they tubes have done their job! We have not had any ear infections since we put them in. This winter has been pleasantly good for us only one trip to the doctor other than her well child check! I am so GLAD!!!

Love you...

Kaylin has started the cutest thing... Whenever we say, "I Love you, Kaylin" Kaylin responds with, "I Love you too much!" I Love to hear her say it so several times throughout the day I tell her that I love her.
