Christmas Eve

Each year my Family gets together on Christmas Eve afternoon to open presents and eat dinner together. This year the party started as soon as we got there (since Ryan had to work)! 30 mintues later we were finished opening gifts and the kids were busy playing with their new toys!

Most of the grandchildren got 2 or 3 presents from Grammy and Poppy so they played with the first one until someone handed them another one...

Grammy and Poppy gave Kaylin this cute doll house, which she LOVED so much that she refused to open the puzzle from them once we got the doll house together.

After Dinner we bundled up and headed out to the Town Hall for the annual Christmas Eve program. This year Uncle Ryan, Auntie Tiff, and Baby Kord had an important role in the program since they played "Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus"

While waiting for the program to start we let the kids run around so that they would burn out some of their energy.

At the end of the program we all sing songs until Santa comes and then the kids race to the front to get in line to sit on his lap. Normally we don't wait in line for this but since Kaylin had not seen Santa yet we thought we better.
It was such a shock when Kaylin sat on his lap and said Hi santa and didn't cry one bit. She even told him that she wanted a Kitchen for Christmas. When he asked for anything else she told him she wanted Chocolate Milk.

After the program, Kaylin and Kolby went back to Grammy and Poppy's house to decorate sugar cookies for Santa. This was Kaylin's first experience with sprinkling the cookies so Uncle Ryan helped her out a little bit and then Daddy joined in on the fun too!

After the cookies were made and a little playing occurred Kaylin opened her Christmas Jammies and immediately wanted them on. We then set out cookies and Chocolate Milk (upon Kaylin's request) for Santa and then she settled in with her own milk and eventually fell asleep on Grammy's lap.
We had such a fun Christmas with our family and Thank them for the gifts they gave us!
